This is my first ever post on here as well. I installed the WordPress engine version 2.6.1. I have to say that it is very impressive as I never used WordPress before.

It is an absolutely fantastic framework written in PHP and I have only just realised how many people actually use it. The framework was on 5Mb and the install was very easy.  All i had to do was create a database, modify one file to take into account of the database settings, run the install script and that was it!

How much simpler can you get! It is absolutely awesome.

I still have a few things to sort out such as my template and plugins but I am very very impressed with this framework.

So what will I be using this blog for? Anything and everything really.

I need to figure out why the HTML tags do not work correctly sometimes but that is probably to do with the template mostly.

Hopefully I will find a template that will allow me to add HTML tags in code form as I will be covering some web programming as well.

Right I better get to it and then I can start blogging in earnest once I can find my ideal template.
